A Little Whisper

 

Dear Reader,

I, your dear friend, acquaintance, and writer, have had you in my thoughts for quite some time. I've been eager to reach out to you since the beginning of this year, but... (Alright, let's start again, and I won't make it look like one of Apostle Paul's epistle introductions).

Dear Friend,

It’s a new year, and let me use this period to say, “Welcome to the year 2024” on this space. How well have you been making good use of it? And how has the 'no gree' period caught you? Well, I just have a few things to say as we journey through this year, and you would have guessed from the topic, “A LITTLE WHISPER.”

We might be in a new year, but our life continues, and yes, it won’t be all smooth with little or more hiccups. So here’s what I want to tell you,

Amidst the hustle and bustle, 

In the race to make ends cuddle, 

When breaths become a struggle,

 

Make a little whisper, gentle, 

A whisper to God, saying, 

"God, help me."

 

In times of confusion 

And doubt, 

Make that little whisper your route.

 

He hears and understands your struggles, 

Don't navigate the journey alone, 

For He is there, a constant presence.

 

When strength dwindles, 

And life's challenges kindle, 

Make that little whisper.

 

And on this note, I say welcome to 2024 once again, and let’s live like the King and Queen we are in this victorious year. Shalom!"
