ROBBED (EPISODE 1)

 

Dressed the way they wanted to be addressed 

They dressed,

Wearing a mask of hidden identity,

Hand gloves of brutality.

Having a voice that doesn't care

And a part of the body that kills.

They collected our valuables.

A struggle with them is injury.

Location isn't a barrier

But, time is a hindrance.

That's how they took our joy.

She narrated.

MY EXPLANATION

It's not until you take a gun and point it to someone's face before you can say you robbed. Or when you take some valuable material things from them before you say you've robbed the person. What about robbing people of their smiles, hard work, potentials, creativity, and any other thing that makes them who they are?

Sometimes we disguise to rob them of these things and sometimes we don't. Though it might not be intentional in some cases but the truth is that this robbery has caused some to commit suicide, to be depressed, to have low self-esteem, to think negatively at all times, and see themselves as pain to people.

Humanity needs these people because of what they have, because of who they are. So why let these people go extinct when we all want to see the world be a better place for us all. Let's be mindful of how we treat people and not allow ourselves to be the reason why they aren't themselves.
