Hello my people, you are all welcome back from our short break. Today on Memories and Thoughts with Saar_haywhy let's go back to those old days.
How many of us can remember the poems we were taught while in Kindergarten? I don't mean this current kindergarten. I mean when you were 1,2 3 and you were in kindergarten.
Well I remembered few faintly. I knew back then we were this poems.
Old ruggard is dead and goan to the grave,
hmmm ahhh, gone to the grave
He planted an apple tree over his head
Hmmm ahhh, over his head
There came an old woman and picked them all up, Hmmmm ha! picked them all up,
Hmmm ha! gave her a knock. (only few could remember this vividly)
There's this other rhyme we sing also about School bus all I could remember is
Pin pin, pom pom
Prevailing straight.
I know some of us are trying to remember what we were taught back then. Those memories, those words, those rhymes.
Moving higher in class we were taught state and capital, multiplication table and the local governments we had in the state. Let's be sincere to ourselves do you remember them all?
This were times where our teachers will tell us that after assembly, that should be the first thing to say to them. Days where we would be beating for not knowing it. So we read ahead to know it. Reducing our playtime to read it.
This things are things that will help us later as we move on. But when we don't learn we feel sad, we don't want our teachers to call our juniors for us. That's why we learn it.
Why then have we stopped this way? This are mentality we ought to have in every aspect. I'll reduce some of my time to know it.
We were given life by Him but we don't want to learn from him.
"Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do."
That book is our guidance in life as we keep growing.
