Memories and Thoughts: Children

I have a cousin who is more beautiful than I am. Her smiles are broader than mine. Very fun to be with.

Anytime we meet, this little cousin of mine will always come to meet me and ask for my phone. And I'll tell her I don't play games with my phone. With the hope that she'll tell me ok but, she'll tell me bring it.

And I'll be like what is it that she wants to do with it. I'll even go as far as saying that I don't have movies but that does not change the fact that she would leave.

She would come and come till what she asked for is fulfilled, then she would leave.

If I didn't give one day, that doesn't mean she won't come the next day. Her heart is just so free to relate and be good with people.

One thing is that no matter how busy I am, I'll always create a time for her. Even though it's something I'm not used to or I don't like. I'll still give her the attention (because of her consistent asking) if I'm free.

I could have decided to just shout at her and tell her not to come again. And I'll known that she won't come to me again.

But I can't, why?

It's not ideal to treat kids like that. We all need to show them love for them to show others too and make the world a world with love and not without love.

Where did I learn that from?
I learnt it from my heavenly father. He taught me how to show love and did you know that, the way my cousin ask me persistently and I answer. That he also does to me.

One thing about him is that, he joyfully allows anyone to be his child, after you have successfully clicked on the icon that says "I agree to the terms and conditions" which is to accept His son as your Lord.

May I remind you that, the aim of men is to make heaven.

So why waste the amount of years spent on this earth wrongly?

He says

Matt.19.14 - But Jesus intervened: "Let the children alone, don't prevent them from coming to me. God's kingdom is made up of people like these." (MSB)

So apart from your persistent in asking him, how have you build your heart or lifestyle?

May we not loose what we've laboured to get for years in Jesus name.
