Memories and Thoughts: Choreography

Today on Memories and Thoughts we will be remimding ourselves of one thing we did while growing up.

How many of us remembered wearing white shirt or to, black skirt or trouser, white socks and our white hand glove. I know you do.
Yeah, it's what you are thinking, that thing that you are thinking gan gan. CHOREOGRAPHY

I remember those times I would make sure I have extra to make myself available to participate in the choreography.

Those days the song we mostly used are
Ijoba Orun by Lara George
Opomulero by Lara George
Aiye ó lé by infinity

List the ones you know about. I could remember we used Twale by FLO which was the second to the last choreography I did (don't be surprised I still remembered). Oya let me tell you the last one I did. It was Opomulero at........................

The rules we were given then were
1. Don't talk or sing while on stage
2. Be uniform
3. Turn your mistakes to style

Our teachers will make sure our demonstration translate the meaning of the song. Then we rehearse and rehearse to make sure we don't look as if we didn't plan at all.

And if you make mistake on the stage, no for sure that you will be treated the way you deserve. Especially during rehearsals that you keep starting from the beginning till no one makes mistakes.

Imagine if the demonstration doesn't match to the lyrics of the song, how would people feel? Would your performances look outstanding and wants people to join you next time? Likewise we Christians.

When the bible tells us something but we are doing otherwise. Our life shouldn't be different from the song God is singing to our ears, through his words, servant and His spirit.
"Don't fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don't act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like."

Thanks for reading today's episode, see you next week by His grace.
