I AM NOT A PRIEST

I abide by the law of the nation,
I live a peaceful life.
I care alot about others,
But ain't regular in church programs.
I do compromise my faith,
On grounds of worthlessness.
I was constantly reminded-
that I am meant to be a priest,
with a lot of potentials to fulfill,
and a lot of goodies to deliver.
Adamant I remained, with the saying-
I AM NOT A PRIEST

My attitude and character never for once stable,
My garment of righteousness always soiled with sin I know.
My religious status changes as i look for the one suitable’
My family don't seems to trust.
Companions don’t seems love.
My vision now looks faded, With my mission in Jeopardy,
Oh, how confused I am.
I doubt it-
I AM NOT A PRIEST

I drink and smoke to stupor
I break whatever limit for my want of safety
I have extra lives
How then can I be a priest
For definitely, dauntingly and decisively, I’m sure
No
I AM NOT A PRIEST

I gat lot of source I'm connected to
But not all are connected to me
Because I never meditate and read the manual
I never communicated with the source
For I have no wisdom and ability to think
Therefore, I AM NOT A PRIEST

Circumstances revealed to me reality
Reality revealed to me immortality
Immortality revealed to me identity
Identity revealed to me clarity
Then I knew that
I WAS BORN A PRIEST

Immortality revealed to me my true source
My true source showed me where I should be
But I haven't lived up to the tag,
That was boldly placed upon me,
Then I knew,
No further delay,
I AM A PRIEST.

  2. The Priesthood... It takes a taste of overwhelming love and immortality to acknowledge the truth that 'Where we are coming from' is not a limiting factor to 'What we have been called into'.
