He finished his B.sc , hoping for a better life. He attended almosts all programmes that will help his life after school. He was happy because no more university suffering. He was thinking about his service (NYSC), how he will look when he wears that uniform.
He started planning how he will behave in the camp, he did things he had to do. He completed his youth service, hoping to put all what he was taught into practice instantly. The zeal was there and obvious. He was dreaming of it both day and night.
He was the most anticipating corper in town. He had planned which type of company he wants to work for, the type of people he will meet and relate to in the company, how he will spend his salary, what he will do and not do.
The day finally came and he left the camp. LIFE BEGINS PROPER. He was no longer under his parents roof,he was all alone. He has been moving from one company to another ( even if the company isn't what he planned for). Years passed by without him been employed.
During those years, he went through ups and downs. He never knew that, what he thought life would be wasn't so true. He had a lot of down moments in those period. Lot of problems there and here. Still been unemployed, then all he could say was "WHY ME".
Yes, "WHY ME". That's what most of us say when we are faced with challenges thrown at us by LIFE. Most of us will even go as far as saying "GOD, WHY ME". While some will say "GOD, WHY ALWAYS ME".
Even if the challenges life throws at us, tries to make us alter such statement, why don't we give ourself some courage and say "People have passed through situations like this so i'm not the only one so it ain't why me"
Why don't we remember that we have a comforter who will guide us and teach us all things to help us. The truth is that most of us tend to forget the comforter ( Holy-Spirit) when we are faced with challenges that won't allow us rest a bit.
Why don't you say that "Things are falling in place for my favour because God has a better plan for me". Though in sight of men it might be too long and difficult but in God's sight, it is waiting for the right time that it will fit you and make other things fall in place for you.
Most of us atimes feel dejected, disgraced and shameful when life throws challenges at us. Why don't we take the bold step of faith and move on to the better place prepared for us.
I want you to know that even if it seems that you are stagnant just know "You are better than the way you were before". Just have it in mind that you are not the only one in that challenge. Keep moving on.
