O come all ye faithful
As we celebrate the birth of whom
History and Christian Religious Knowledge taught us
The birth of the Greatest of all time
Which we celebrate around this period
His birth was long foretold but
Looking at the period his birth was foretold to
The moment he was born
Starting from Isaiah to Matthew
A long period of years where
There would have been lot of doubts on whether
It would happen or not
Would you permit me not to talk about his birth
But what would have happened if He wasn't born
What would have become of the world
What would have become of you and me
What would have become of our generation and generations to come
Would we still be alive?
Would we have or know something called Grace and mercy?
Would we still have power over death?
Would we still know the difference between good and evil?
Would we still have acces to the place where the high priest enters?
Would we still have access to the new testament?
This and many more would have been the questions we would be raising if He never came.
But the underlining question is still HOW SHALL WE CELEBRATE HIS BIRTH?
Shall we celebrate his birth because it's customary?
Shall we celebrate his birth because it's part of the church calendar?
Shall we celebrate his birth because History and Christian Religious Knowledge told us he is ome of the greatest man that lived?
Shall we celebrate his birth because it's time to celebrate and eat?
Shall we celebrate his birth because we just have to honor him?
His birth brought love which made him to die for us
His birth brought Grace and mercy whuch made us reconcile to God
Rather than just die at every sin committed like the days of old
His birth brought power over death and sin
His birth brought us to the new testament
Therefore how shall we celebrate his birth without having his character?
How shall we celebrate his birth without exhibiting the love he showed to us?
How shall we celebrate his birth without honoring his works on earth?
How shall we celebrate his birth without making him known to people who needs him?
How shall you celebrate his birth this year?
Good one to think on
